Right now from what I know, there is nothing actually going on. They are taking resume as of now, a regional search from what I know so far. Might be a national one real soon. I now the AD his name is Mark Griffin, he is a very sure man. The man is a straight shooter. He was the Head Track Coach and Associate AD at New Jersey City University for years. He is a man about results. Don't be surprised if the person who ends up with this position, goes through a 400 point inspection. from what I know of Mr. Griffin, he is a tough AD. He wants WINS like any AD but he wants it done RIGHT!!! He isn't going to hire someone who is going to keep that program WHERE it is. Rutgers at one point was the ONLY team that could and did beat PSU in the EIVA without problems. NOW they can't even beat Steven's Tech. Not saying Steven's is a bad program, but in now way should Rutgers, with it's hhistory EVER loseto a DIII Three team, that includes JUNIATA. Well good luck to who ever gets the opportunity to turn that program around. Know well that you will have one of the most MOTIVATED AD's in the NORTHEAST, and he WILL let you know if you are UNDER PERFORMING.

HA. That is very different from what I am hearing behind the scenes in Newark. I am wondering if the players or coaches have anything to say about how he is treating the program... I heard they were going DIII in 2008 anyhow.

The program will NOT go Division III if you believe the position announcement. The job right now is not a good one as they will be relegated to the Hay division. But, the person coming in there will have a total rebuilding job on their hands as they have very little talent left on that small roster.

Does Rutgers currently give scholarships and if so, how many? Yes they do. But how many I'm not sure. I belive they have the full 4.5 available. Who ever comes in does have a HUGE REBUILDING job to do.

There are some kids that are playing volleyball that would love a chance to play against the Big Boys and Rutgers always has a top schedule. They did not win but they played a top schedule. Major rebuilding job is just the beginning but for whoever gets the job, they will need 3 years to get back to the Tait.

down at the farm that I call at NB, those ladies will be fine. Stringer is a tough bird, if I am allowed to say that. The men's job on the other hand will be very tough for soemone.
