Tied in the 3rd...should have dominated the 1st and won the 2nd...but 10 service errors so far (at 7-7 in the 3rd) is making them have to play more

Dig kill and beautiful dig/transition kill by ross makes it 17-16....but another service error ties it up

19-17 USA to take it in 3. Some great rallies, but a lot of unforced errors.

Give them credit for pulling it out. Their strategic decision-making was questionable at times in that third set, but they fought hard for every point and found a way. They were probably helped by some nerves by the Spanish team, who missed a match-point swing fairly badly.

Watched the 3rd set online after I got back from work. Excellent play by both teams in the latter stages when the chips were down.
