25-19, USA. Looks like we're gonna see Pool A number 4 in the crossover. Argentina might be that team, they've got a lot of talent, could give us trouble.

Neither of Russia's top two outsides currently in the game. None of the top three, if you count Biryukov. Wish I knew exactly what happened with this team. Not playing anywhere near their potential, and that has a lot to do with the passing and middle back defense.

Rich needs to get outside the 3 man block and dig the outsides... he is so far out of position.

Alekhno got a little cocky at the WL and rested most of the top players till the later phases and by then it was too late to catch up point wise and make the finals and they were eliminated posting losses against Cuba and the youthful Serbs. I attribute their poor performance thus far to lack of preparation.
Khtey, besides their match against Germany, has been pretty awful and am glad to see him on the bench. Surprised Berezhko isn't getting more of an opportunity and seems to be the last minute result but he had a great pro season and was one of the few brightspots during the WL for Russia. Butkho has also been underwhelming and glad to see Grankin get back in the lineup.

Why is the Zenit Kazan outside, Sivolehez or whatever, not even on the NT roster. He's way better than anyone they've played at outside in the tournament. And is Biryukov injured or what?
