So Berg is out of this tournament?? BAD NEWS!!! Who said that? Source? Rumors are the only thing known to fly around the universe faster than light.

McCutcheon after US/DOM match:
"I am still optimistic [about Berg injury]. I am very happy for Courtney Thompson who played great tonight."

McCutcheon after US/DOM match: "I am still optimistic [about Berg injury]. I am very happy for Courtney Thompson who played great tonight." Take it day, by day. She'll wake up tomorrow, see how she feels, see what she can do.. and go from there. I believe in Courtney Thompson, and the rest of the team.

I will have to say that I haven't seen them play much since they left college and it was a joy to watch them. I have watched Thompson, Foluke, Larson and Hooker play ball since they were freshman in college and it's a joy to see them come full circle. Go USA!!

We still have sparks like Hodge and Scott on the bench... which makes me happy, especially if we struggle from the left on Thursday.

Indeed Go USA! Confident in our deep team and resilience of its players.

Will we see Alisha glass after all? Only if she buys a ticket to the match.

Will we see Alisha glass after all? USA, nor any other team, can call upon alternates after the start of competition.

If the USA and Japan win their semifinals we could have the same match-up as the women's soccer gold medal game.

Will we see Alisha glass after all? I suppose that was to rub it in and not ignorance.

Diving? Isn't that everybody doing the same dive, looking the same, but getting different scores? There's no crying in baseball, and there shouldn't be any judging in sports!
