USA takes on the Dominican Replublic on Tuesday at 11:00am PT, the winner advances to the Semifinal, the loser goes home.
The biggest question mark is will Lindsey Berg be able to particiapte again for USA, or is she out. There haven't been any updates so far, so I'm not sure what to think.
DOM is simply happy to be in the quarters, and have no pressure as everyone expects them to lose. They are physical, and their libero is fantastic. This will not be an easy match by any means.
Thoughts/predictions?

USA 3-0, even with CT, as long as we serve away from Castillo (which teams shockingly do not do enough).

Agree, keep the ball away from Castillo and DR should not be much of a problem. Just watch out for Dela Cruz as she is very athletic.
USA 3-0

USA in 3 - with or without Berg. The only way I see it might not being a sweep would be with Berg setting if she is not 100%. Give her a rest and let Court play.

The first two Quarterfinals were amazing.
I don't expect the Dominican Republic to roll over. Castillo has to have Hooker's number today, and DR has to serve tough. But if USA has poor passing or can't set the middle as much, along with Castillo picking up Hooker, I could see this becoming a game real quick. The last piece of the puzzle for the Dominican Republic is to have Cabral and De La Cruz consistently putting the ball down.
Alot of stuff has to happen, the USA has too much talent for DR to slack off in any area.

USA 3-0.
