Harmotto is going to foot-fault again in this tournament if she continues in the serving rotation.

If she pulled, ripped or tore her achilles cord then i doubt she will be able to compete again. In her motion going back it looked exactly like that. She maybe moving side to side or even light hopping on the sideline but if it is injured explosive movements will not respond well. Hopefully im wrong I don't think she'd be walking if she tore her Achillles and I'm pretty sure she would have shown some signs of pain when she noticed the pop.

Hmmm, that last play, the connection between CT and Hooker was a little off.

Thompson's setting to Hooker on the D is slower than Berg's. Her setting to the left side too tight a couple of times. Let's see how they adjust.

Tom loves covering that tip all the way to the right side.

Thompson setting the middles well. That's great news! Need to speed up the sets to Hooker and give her a little more out of the D.

Hopefully im wrong I don't dispute your speculation of what follows an achilles tear. But I don't think we have to hope too hard that you're wrong.

A torn Achilles is debilitating immediately, she would not be walking around, the calf would roll up like a window shade. If it was partial tear, then it would also be very painful. I think Berg does have a very high threshold of pain because of her knee pain.

Set 1 USA 25-14. Our block looks near impenetrable.

The movement brings back a bad memory for me. If we get Berg back.....bonus for us and dodged a bullet.

When I saw her start her jumpserve approach that first time in Beijing my jaw hit the floor. Thanks Lin, now I have this chronic jaw pain and can't play volleyball anymore!
