I just finished watching the tape delay and what a great comeback. It's great we have both teams in the gold medal match. We were hoping for this back in 2004 with McPeak and EY. Anything can happen but my bet is on Misty and Kerri. They have played together for over 10 years and have great chemistry. Regardless...we now have the gold and silver!

Way too much hatin' on Larissa. That chick is total fire and ice with the best stink eye among the women. Oh, yeah, and she can play just a little. Mea Culpa on Kessy/Ross. I knew they had the game to beat Brazil, but I doubted they had the composure. Ross was an iron lady, but Kessy really delivered late. This team is a classic example of playing out of their minds under control! When Jen gets tentative or loses focus, look out. When they loosen up, they're the most fun to watch. I love that Comcast/NBC doesn't even highlight the gold medal match. It's an also mention in their info. I guess they have to include enough time to interview a midget gymnast's great aunt!

P.S.: My recording ran out just after Jen shanked one to make the score 14-12 in the third. Ain't that a bitch!

One thing I found interesting and that was the after match greeting between teams. With the Chinese it seemed actually warm and genuine. With Brazil, you could tell they really didn't like each other. There was a big difference.

I kinda hope the Chinese get the bronze. They seem really nice and are a good team.

I'm calling Kessy and Ross to win the Gold. No pressure on them what so ever!! They can just go out and spoil Misty's farewell match!!

The greetings between May/Walsh and the Chinese was warm because the two teams train together and so know each other very well.

After seeing a few of their matches, good grief Kessey can be inconsistent. It is totally in her head as well. Don't know if she has tried any sports psychology, but I think it would help.

Not sure what your problem with May/Walsh is, you keep making comments like that about any team beating them. anyway, I think Misty and Kerri will prevail champions, and I hope they do. Love them!
