Yes, also that handicapped Chinese dude. If that was what you were originally talking about, I nailed it! Actually, it's a pervasive theme throughout the movie. I had forgotten that it was a Christopher Nolan film.

Inception Still a good movie. My favorite Christopher Nolan movie is probably Interstellar...Inception 2nd and The Prestige 3rd. Hmm, for me, it's probably: 1. The Dark Knight Rises 1a. Inception 3. Batman Begins 4. The Dark Knight 5. Dunkirk 6. Interstellar 7. Memento 8. The Prestige 9. Insomnia 10. Following I have not seen Following or Insomnia, but I probably should. I have yet to see a bad Christopher Nolan movie. I have now seen them.

The Dark Knight Rises is my favorite superhero movie of all time, just ahead of X-Men: First Class and Into the Spiderverse. And whatever you think of Nolan's Batman movies, he really raised the bar for the entire genre. Batman was basically a dead movie IP before Batman Begins.

Vice (2018)
Finally saw this film about Dick Cheney. I liked it a lot. Whenever I'm watching a film that is based on real people or events, I always ask, "Why watch this film if I can just watch a documentary on the same subject?" A film should do something more creative and entertaining while being compelling and possibly insightful.

Just don't care much for batman... though I do own all three I really liked First Class, however!

I love the part in Memento where he "wakes up" and he's in the middle of running, so he asks himself, "Wait. Why am I running?"

The Favourite (2018)
This is a black comedy so it treats all sorts of serious subjects with irony and humor. In one scene, Masham barges into Abigail's room. (Abigail is played by Emma Stone.)
Abigail : Have you come to seduce me, or rape me? Masham : I am a gentleman. Abigail : So, rape then.

The Bank Job (2008)
Guy, Dave, and others are in a shop trying to dig a tunnel to the bank next door for a heist. Eddie is on the rooftop as the lookout. They're on the walkie-talkie.
Eddie: All clear on the western front, Guy.
Dave, angry that Eddie used a real name over the walkie-talkie, grabs the walkie-talkie from Guy.
Dave: No real names, Eddie.
Eddie: Sorry, Dave.

Watching “Rocketman” right now. Thought it was suppose to tell about Elton John’s life, and I guess it is but in a way they’re trying to do it like Mamma Mia where Elton’s songs are played at the right moment.
Finished watching it, pretty good movie. Just amazing the relationship between Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

I decided to cross one of the Christopher Nolan movies I hadn't seen off my list. I started with Insomnia, which is about an LA detective who is investigating the murder of a girl in an Alaska town where the sun doesn't set in the summer. It features strong performances from Al Pacino, Robin Williams, and Hilary Swank. It starts pretty strongly, as I was engrossed by the 30-minute mark, and it stays strong right through a very good ending. It might only be the eighth- or ninth-best Nolan movie that I've seen (Following is the only one that I still need to watch), but Nolan's string of very good-to-great films is intact.
