She is pretty proud of her visits. She is a top 100 basketball recruit by far.
Volleyball.... top 200. I dont think Texas volleyball would be pressed for her. With all the mega elite recruiting classes texas pulls in, she wouldn't demand for begging there.
But she is an excellent basketball prospect for any school. She is high on Oregon's radar too.

Didn't Prep have her as a Top 50 junior?

She is the #13 basketball recruit in one of the basketball rankings. As long as she plays basketball in college, she's a freebie for the volleyball program because the ship will count against the basketball numbers.

So happy to see that North Dakota's Lauren Ware visited Texas officially; previously visited Nebraska.
Is this girl really that good? I mean if you post about every visit and your top ten schools as an annoucnement, I fully expect you to be REALLY good. very common for basketball to post like this

But not Gaurunteed they will let her play both. Volleyball season takes away alot of time from basketball.

I feel certain it's a key topic of discussion during her official visits. If she's adamant that she wants to play both, I suspect she will be allowed to play both, though I suspect the odds will be longer that she will decide to still play both as a sophomore. Playing two team sports in college is a load and don't often see athletes that do it all the way through school. Little more common to see dual sports in one team sport and an individual sport like track. Destinee Hooker is one that comes to mind for us Texas folks as she was a POY in volleyball and a multiple national champion in the high jump. Little easier to adjust your schedule if one of them is an individual sport, plus also helps if the two seasons aren't back to back.

She wants to play both, but if the basketball coach decides volleyball is a hindrance, she'll give up volleyball without much consternation. She's much more passionate about basketball. She's definitely good at volleyball, but it's unlikely she'll make a major impact for most of the volleyball programs on her list who have elite talent dedicated to that one sport. She'd be a bigger boon for schools that don't have comparable talent.

I read she took one previously at Nebraska and from a comment above I'm guessing another is Oregon.
Even if she wouldn't make a major impact at Texas or Nebraska, I suspect both coaches would still like a quality front row player that doesn't cost them a scholarship.

Ware's Top 10 list of finalists spans schools coast to coast. As for her other 3 official visits, time will tell.

Minnesota, Texas, Nebraska, Oregon, and not sure about the 5th. I agree that most coaches would be fine with adding her as a freebie, certainly doesn't hurt. I just dont think for these major volleyball powers that it's worth worrying about given the situation.

For the four volleyball coaches, I would think all four have already completed their 2020 recruiting class, so she wouldn't be a must have. I'm sure they are still recruiting her hard to support their basketball counterpart because she will be a major impact there and they get some benefit also.

Is there anything new here? She has been the primary topic for the last two pages of this thread and this tweet has already been posted and quoted in several replies.

The WBB forum I frequent is twisting itself a bit inside-out wondering if she could play both sports. They're now talking about if she could endure a two-sport season where one intersects with the other. Texas WBB needs a post very badly since our savior post entered the transfer portal.
The real question is Texas VB aggressively recruiting her? Hard to tell. I think that VB recruiting is one of the more quiet women's sports, maybe close to softball.
I missed it the first time that she was wearing a VB jersey in her pictures. But no pictures of her with Jerrit or any of the other staff. Then again, I don't know what is considered normal in VB recruiting social media.

I would guess VB is not recruiting her as aggressively as basketball.
I don't know if I would read much into the pictures. I'm sure this was a basketball OV, so most of the time is likely spent with the basketball program including the photo session.
Who was the post that is transferring?
