Texas is not allowed to repost or say anything about her unless she has cleared and “signed”. Her posting plus Texas’ Instagram reposting means that she has signed and, from what it sounds like, really excited to be here next year. No.
Coaches and university are allowed to re-tweet anything an un-signed recruit tweets; and, recruit does not have to be a verbal commitment. I've seen it plenty of times over the last year or two with women's hoops. It can be a simple "had a great time on my unofficial visit to ______" type tweet re-tweet.

Oh you’re right. Just looked it up. Changed a couple years ago. Guess I’m too old school😅. Well that being said, I would assume her posting that and Texas reposting means we have nothing to be worried about for her next year.

If referring to retweeting or reposting, the NCAA clarified this years ago that it was allowable. It actually was never not allowed, but was a gray area when social media first became popular.
I would say little to worry about, not nothing. If this involves academic records and/or meeting academic standards, never consider it a slam dunk.

That’s not true. You could not publicize a recruit on social media (for example: retweet their commitment) until a few years ago. Regardless, I’m not worried about it. Parra is obviously committed and they’ll do whatever they need to to get her here.

Maybe she moved to Austin early to play in the 18U season with a local team? Crazy that AJV wouldn't go after her if she was looking for a club to play with.

Purely a guess with no supporting evidence: Maybe she needs to take a semester or two of US high school to fill in equivalencies in her transcript in order to enter UT?

I think that makes sense. Otherwise, she would've probably just come to UT in the spring. Prayers for these other 17/18 yo girls she's going up against! Lol

Winter/holiday break coming up in less than one month; and, Spring semesters don't start until January. Perhaps she is just checking things out so her Mom can see where she will be staying.

A question for all of you Texas VB experts, is “Capri Davis transferring to Texas?” Just curious. . .
