There shouldn't be a competition here. Mad Dog did show some something every once and awhile but I just don't see her being able to establish herself as Florida's libero. I'm not trying to knock her, but I just think Unroe has more talent. Just some of the games i watched monserez was more agile and able to run down tips and everything, I could see if she improved her serve receive giving unroe a run for her money. What I'm more interested is with whats going on on the pins. and the setter competition. I watched Dagostino go through cub with burgess and I always remember them both being so athletic. As for the pins, does it look like mallette may be moving to OPP. Also, to an above comment, I wouldn't count against Florida at the Big 4. We have big middles that are still up there right behind texas PSU and Stanford. An upset may be possible if Recek and other pins perform well. Our success largely depends on how well we pass. When we pass well we have Mann who has been basically unstoppable and she opens up the rest of the offense. Without her involved they can focus on shutting down the pins better. However, if our pins have gotten enough experience perhaps they can fare better in out of system play this year..

I'll agree she's more agile and also add that she seems quicker, but her placement wasn't always where it should've been. But hey, if she really has improved, then I'm all for her getting a shot because I just want the best on the court regardless of what their name is.

Hey Thrill, did you mention last year that you have moved to SW Florida? If so, Penn State will be in your backyard the weekend of Sept 13 and 14 playing at Florida Gulf Coast University.

I think if we get our middles involved we could push teams like penn state and Stanford.... I think it's our defense that is the difference maker against big teams, so I hope we improved in that area over the spring

so this is some 2014 news, but I saw on Rhamat Alhassan's twitter page that she has reached her goal of touching 11'. You hear about a lot of 10'5" or 10'6" touches but 11' is pretty stellar!

She got four stuffs in a row as soon as they made the switch. I cant wait to see her at Florida. These next classes coming in could be just what Wise needs to get over the hump.
