Who left? Both were kind of new? So why is no one suggesting a change of head coach like the Winthrop situation? Axe grinding maybe? Um, that has been suggested on many an occasion. See: all BigTen end of season threads and several threads on OSU.

University of the sciences in PA still doesn't have a coach and has no candidates. Not sure if anyone really cares about this job.

Just heard through the grapevine that West Georgia is going interim route. I guess July doesn't offer enough enthusiastic twenty - something female applicants with great passion for the game. Looks like of the great work Gary did to better that program will go down the tubes.

Does anyone know if a new head coach has been named to St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York, Division 1? It's quiet so far. They started very quickly with interview process, but nothing after that. I guess they show once again how much they care about volleyball. One of my girls on the team and another one is incoming freshmen, they had no word on the coach yet. SFC Brooklyn has offered and it has been accepted. Not sure whom. They will announce it next week.

Would it be too late for interested bodies to contact the right individuals to set up possible interest? Will they move GA TO assist if Assist is moved to Interim? Would suck for prog to "go down tubes" as you so nicely put ha ha ha

A program without clear leadership for anywhere from 6 to 8 months can fall behind a couple of years. Changing the leadership will already take time to recover simply from change in philosophy. But all recruiting will almost be moot for the duration. Players will put decisions on hold until new coach is named. Lots of reasons I make that statement. But it will go down the tubes..fallopian or otherwise...if this turns out to be another quota hire. I see male WBB head coach, an open volleyball position is prime for the mango. Hope Gary is doing well in all this. Odd it happened this late.

He is quite comfortable with decision and in moving on in other directions.
