Whats wrong with Merchant & Bethel streets late at night? lol, you know Aunty Robert . Roy, I broke up with my girlfriend recently . hmm if I did try to watch the match at Sundance, or Rock-za or someplace like that, I'd be faced with a tough decision... game, girls ? game, girls ? such a quandary. How do you do it ?..... Just kidding. I'd rather watch the girls actually come to think of it, the game is free whereas the girls are " pay per view ", I'll watch the game at home. About the game time, K5 announced that they will show the Hawaii'i/BYU game at 2pm Hawai'i time. Usually the host school plays in the later match, meaning Pepperdine/UCI would be the second match. Perhaps the matches listed on the MPSF page are in reverse order ? If Hawai'i / BYU play the second match, the game will be shown at the later time.

I wouldn't have brought it up if I had known you guys broke up. But at least you can freely come on the message board without guilt. My advise, don't go there if you want to watch the game. Too tough a choice to make. Not that I ever had to make one like that.

The Hawaii/BYU match WILL be played AFTER the Pepp/Irvine match. Pepp vs. UCI at 5 p.m. Pacific time(2 Hawaii time) Hawaii vs. BYU at 7:30 p.m. Pacific time(4:30 Hawaii time) The same thing occured last season at Malibu. Word has it that the Waves like to play first, so the MPSF lets them. As far I know...no TV for Pepp/UCI. Only the UH match. Also, you can listen to the UH/BYU match on the internet at: www.kkea1420am.com

Also, you can listen to the UH/BYU match on the internet at: www.kkea1420am.comThat is correct, Hawaii will play in the second match. The reason for that is the MPSF has that format regardless. They list the matches in order of seed. Match 1: Seed 1 v. Seed 8 Match 2: Seed 4 v. Seed 5 Match 3: Seed 2 v. Seed 7 Match 4: Seed 3 v. Seed 6 MPSF Semi-Finals Semi 1: Winner Match 1 v. Winner Match 2 (at 5:00) Semi 2: Winner Match 3 v. Winner Match 4 (at 7:30) So, it was set that way from the start. It wasn't planned by Pepperdine but by the MPSF.

V, perhaps you should also turn the radio on and listen in, then watch it later that night on a re-broadcast, or tape it! The problem with listening to the match on the radio during my working hours is that it won't look good with my boss. As for taping it, I might have to if they are not rebroadcasting it later on during the evening. Now to find the instructions for the VCR so I can set it to tape the match on that time.

Some added info. on K5 televising the match.
Star-Bulletin staff
Hawaii volleyball fans will get at least one more opportunity to see the Warriors on television.
KFVE will televise Thursday's Mountain Pacific Sports Federation semifinals in conjunction with College Sports TV.
KHNL General Manager John Fink said yesterday that both semifinals will be shown live. Saturday's MPSF championship will also be broadcast live if the second-ranked Warriors are in it.
KFVE color commentator Chris McLachlin and Randy Rosenbloom will call the action.
Top-seeded Pepperdine hosts the MPSF championship. The Waves face fifth-seeded UC Irvine in Thursday's early match at 2 p.m. Hawaii time. Third-seeded Hawaii takes on second-seeded Brigham Young in the second semifinal at 4:30 p.m.
The championship is set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday, with the winner getting the MPSF's automatic bid to the NCAA championship.
The Warriors and Cougars split a pair of conference matches in Utah this season.

Cognition can only help to remind me of how much of an idiot I've been, oh well, you live and learn. I guess I'll go listen to " You don't know what you've got till it's gone " now. The late start for the Hawai'i match might be better, it will allow more people to enjoy the game live, cool . Don't worry, I wont be watching the game there, but can you tell Carmen I said Hi ?.... just kidding Go Warriors !
