Is it time for him to step down?
How many losing seasons and/or seasons not being in the NCAA Tournament is ok with the current athletic administration?
Oregon State needs to find somebody new.....

It's a good question. He strikes me as a guy who still has the desire and energy...and he clearly has the knowledge and skills. But he's in a tough spot in Corvallis. It's hard to compete with UO for money and recruits.
But unless they can beat UW or WSU, it's going to be a season without a single conference win.

Would anyone else do better at OSU?

Seriously, what's the ceiling for OSU? They're playing in a very tough conference whose bottom is getting better, and the clear #2 school in the conference's most talent-poor state. There are only so many under-the-radar kids you can snipe out of California or Australia.
Liskevych is a good coach and is replacing him really gonna make the program better?? Karch isn't knocking on the door to come to Corvallis. And most other sports at OSU (esp. women's) seem to be in the same spot, so the VB program doesn't exactly stick out.

Where was Oregon before Jim Moore got there? Where was Kansas State before Jim Moore got there. Sorry Candle, I mostly agree with you.. however it seems to be your opinion that Oregon State cannot win. I just dont believe that.

Well, since they don't play WSU again (they only play them once this year due to the unbalanced schedule - they lost in 5 in Corvalis back in September) I guess they are in trouble. They play UW and Oregon this week.

Terry's a great coach. Johnny Depp and Channing Tatum couldn't recruit players to Corvallis.

You certainly can't keep getting under the radar kids, if Jim Moore is the one getting offering them in Eugene. I notice Taras has been getting a lot of the small school high school stars from the area (Corvallis, Albany, Philomath). The problem is most aren't really Pac-12 level, as we can see this year. Another good point is what is the ceiling for OSU? Their entire athletic department relies on Oregon losing in a sport for them to celebrate. Their goal is too Oregon falter at some point. It does not seem like they care much if they do well themselves. It is the general feeling all around with just about all their sports. The location itself is pretty bad too, although some like the small town feel, clearly the city has frozen in time. Many of the houses and apartments for students are run down and overpriced with greedy landlords. There's no mall or shopping centers nearby. Not much of a night life, or another exciting things happening in the area. With that said, campus is ok I guess.

Some extra info in OSU's past few coaches and records.
Jeff Mozzochi takes over 1993 18-14 7-11 7th 1994 17-17 4-14 8th 1995 15-16 6-12 T-7th 1996 19-12 6-12 7th 1997 14-17 5-13 7th 1998 13-16 3-15 T-8th Nancy Somera takes over 1999 8-18 2-16 9th 2000 16-16 6-12 T-7th 2001 17-12 10-8 5th Lost to EWU in first round of NCAA 2002 8-20 2-16 9th 2003 16-16 5-13 7th 2004 12-16 5-13 7th TL takes over 2005 11-13 7-11 7th 2006 3-24 0-18 10th 2007 10-20 3-15 9th 2008 14-17 3-15 9th 2009 12-18 3-15 9th 2010 10-23 2-16 10th 2011 16-16 8-14 8th 2012 14-18 4-16 T-10th
TL's 7-11 and 8-14 records are the 2nd (tied) and 4th best % PAC records at OSU in the last 20 years and his two 0-18 (some anticipation here) will be the two worst records.

I don't think there is a lot of expectation there, and they like Terry. I am really surprised that team doesn't have several international players, I think that would be their chance to compete in the league, and TL has a ton of connections internationally.

This feels like the Iowa thread from earlier this season. Maybe he will go there next season, since, according to many, you can win at Iowa.

And 8-14 the first year Colorado and Utah were in the PAC.
