The people at Spike Nashbar's catalog have turned their catalog into a magazine, and if you haven't seen it you must get your hands on it. It's well designed and has some very entertaining articles. Some of them reminded me of Rollshot.com's efforts. I'm pretty sure some former writers and photographers from the old Volleyball Magazine are working for VBall, and they must have gotten the best of the bunch because it's first class.
Get it!
You can email this editor to get on the list: donpatson@aol.com
Oh, forgot to mention, I'm pretty sure it's free, since it was their catalog. (There's nothing on the spikenashbar.com website and I can't locate a site for the magazine.)

Just to clarify, I'm NOT talking about Volleyball Magazine. I'm talking about VBall Magazine. They're two different publications.

Just received my copy today. Its a true mix of magazine and catalog with a kind of cute pic on the front of Eric Fonoimoana and Cynthia Barboza. Haven't had a chance to read it yet, but it's great that we have a choice of reading material.
And, yes, I recognize the names of an editor (Don Patterson) and associate publisher (Jon Hastings) as former volleyball mag folks.
Just read the Q&A with Curt Toppel. Very witty.
