I guess neither of those are true in the panhandle. The problem with Siesta Key and Clearwater is that you get spoiled playing in that beautiful sand and become a sand snob.

In the early 90's we took an east coast Florida player to Clearwater for his first AVP tourney. Late afternoon we had a bunch of beers and watched the sunset. When everybody came out to celebrate the sunset, he said, "This is cool. Why don't they do this in Daytona?"
