Pepperdine sweeeeeeeps USC They did? Wow. So much for my prediction on another thread about Burnham/Hughes. Yeah, I believe they only lost one set and that was on court 5.

I thought going in that USC would be better towards the top, but that Pepp might be a little deeper. Obviously Pepp was better at the top and deeper. Today, at least. They're going to see each other probably two or three more times this season, it's going to be really interesting to watch.

The Husky Sand Volleyball program will make its debut on April 5, when the team plays an intrasquad scrimmage at Golden Gardens on the west end of the Ballard neighborhood. The events are slated for that Saturday, but Sunday, April 6, will also be an option if the weather on Saturday does not cooperate.
The event is slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. and continue until approximately 1:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. More details as to the exact schedule of events and festivities will be announced in the week leading up to the scrimmage.
The exhibition will give the Huskies a chance to prepare for their official match debut on April 12, when they place Oregon and Boise State in a double-header down in Portland.
(this April) ;-)
I truly hope that the Huskies can find Seattle University (of the WAC) as an opponent this spring as well. It would seem that Alki Beach would be the perfect spot for a friendly sunny day's competition, one all-Saturday event.
Seattle has had a relatively mild winter. Spring thus far has been sorta warm. It would just be a matter of looking into an extended weather forecast and thus organizing an "impromptu" tourney.
