The Nebraska Sand Volleyball team is about halfway through their short season. An update on their season:

The Huskers then competed in the Rainbow Wahine Challenge, a bracketed event that does not keep team scores. Nebraska's No. 1 team of Justine Wong-Orantes/Melanie Keil reached the quarterfinals of the Gold Bracket going 1-1 in the tournament. The team of Kira Larson/Alicia Ostrander lost in the quarterfinals of the Silver Bracket.
Nebraska then competed in the Chaminade Invitational in Hawaii. The No. 1 duo of Melanie Keil/Justine Wong-Orantes won the overall championship in the event over teammates Amber Rolfzen/Kira Larson. The consolation match was won by Cecilia Hall and Alexa Ethridge. In fact, the semifinals was comprised of all Nebraska teams. The Huskers only lost to themselves in the tournament and were undefeated against Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade.
Nebraska now moves on to Arizona. The Huskers will take on Arizona State on Wednesday, March 26 at 5:00 p.m. Nebraska will face Grand Canyon University in Phoenix on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and the University of Arizona at 3:30 on Friday in Phoenix.
This weekend, the Huskers will take part in the Grand Canyon Pairs Tournament in Phoenix to close the season against both Arizona and Grand Canyon.
