This could become a Hot Seat if she cannot keep VCU successful.

Should have been a hot seat already with the way she treats players, and like I said...everyone last year was saying "let's give her a couple of years"....we'll 5 out of your 9 recruits from last year left ( good players from what I heard) plus the 1 Finley left over makes 6 that have left plus the ones that left last year.....

and Seattle and Finley won 3-0, good for them. AD and rogers new direction is still going downhill...has to be sweet for Finley.

Seat should be on fire by now 10 loses for someone taking them to the next level. Saw the Fordham game looked like only 9 girls dressed and 1 has already left this season. The athletic director must be proud.

I stumbled upon this thread...guess I am guilty of not reading it initially because it is not a school or conference I normally follow. I see that was noted in one of the previous posts.
Since my stumble, I have googled info about the situation with Finley and the AD and I am dumbfounded. Does anyone know what came of his firing? Did he sue the school? Did the AD face any ramifications for what he did?
My next question is...they say they want to rebuild the program...rebuild what? They were on top before from what I can tell. Take them to the next level...what next level? They are a mid major and always will be but were a very good mid major (again, from what I could tell). Teams were competitive, kids are competing at an appropriate level for their ability, I assume kids were staying out of trouble and graduating? I just don't get it.
I guess Finley is getting the last laugh. He seems to be doing well at his new school. Took a team that was 9-19/WAC 4-14 the year before he got there and has them, in three years, at 10-5/WAC 2-0 so far. I haven't read anywhere that he ran off the former coach's recruits, so I am assuming he honored scholarships and truly 'built' a program honorably. If you are a winner, you are a winner, regardless of anything. Finley sounds like a winner to me and shame on VCU for allowing this.
