Apparently the one posted by oldmanred is the FAKE roster. ;-)

Are those rosters different? Na; 'cause that is where I got it from! I don't know why Red didn't think it was real?

"Alex, I'll take 'Useless Threads' for $200, please." That would be a pretty expansive category on the VT version of Jeopardy!

If Fien wins the L2 job, I could see Albrecht being her back row sub.

If Fien wins the L2 job, I could see Albrecht being her back row sub. I think we have to go all the way back to 2006 with Dani Mancuso before we see a season where Nebraska didn't start two six-rotation lefts (correct me if I'm wrong). I honestly can't see Fien's attacking being THAT much better than Albrecht's or Haggerty's (if her shoulder is good and she gets her jump back). I think Cook will choose the best six-rotation player, and Fien will be used to provide extra offense situationally, if at all, similarly to how he used her this past season.

NEB will need to have a strong L2. Was Amber ever worked in on the Left in China for trials? I ask this because I think Ostrander is a good RS, and if she was used, this could move Amber to the L2. I thought Fien looked good, but she needs more shots. Cook has lotssssss to work with this season, so many talents. The MB competition will be intense as well. I think it would be hard to sideline Keil. She has really stepped it up and is on an All-American level right now.

LOL...I sure did.

Fien was sick during the China trip, by all reports her offensive skills have been getting praise. She's 6'4" now and can absolutely hammer the ball over and through blocks. Her back row is still holding her back. Regarding Pelcj's thoughts, I could see Cook using a backrow sub even if he hasn't recently. He'll do whatever works. If Maddie is healthy, she could certainly bring offense comparable to Fien, but I don't think Albrect can at the next level. She's very skilled, but she'll excel more as a utility player and defensive specialist than someone Nebraska can rely on to terminate with consistency.
