I saw Cabbage qualified and was hoping he and his partner would play Doherty in a battle of 7 footers, but then I saw he is playing with someone new. What happened to Page?
He was super awkward when I saw him play Hyden/Bourne last year, but definitely had legit pro potential

Agree about his potential. But he had ankle surgery in the not too distant past (which kept him out of 2014 beach tournaments), and has signed an indoor contract with an Italian pro team for the upcoming season.

Thanks for the info GLM. Do you have a general idea what the difference is between what someone like Page can make playing indoors and what someone like Doherty makes playing beach? I ask because for a non-fluid 7 footer (meaning someone who is not naturally particularly coordinated and athletic, I would imagine the likelihood of injury is fairly high playing pro indoors. After you mentioned this I was watching some of his indoor matches and was surprised to find he played OH (I dont follow indoor college much). Also that while he had a huge impact from a blocking perspective he was rarely set, which seemed strange

It also isn't based solely on your results from that weekend, so that is a plus as well. The difference between first and being upset in the quarters can be quite the pay cut.

He is in Tijuana right now playing for Charlie Sullivan on the USA PanAm cup team, US is 3-0 and Page hasn't seen the court.
