So who is up for the OU job. Heard the Skinner from Nebraska was one of their top candidates, did he turn it down? Who else is in the running?

Was Tom Hilbert ever a serious candidate for the job?

I know from first hand experience that the OU volleyball facilities aren't very good. The lighting is terrible. I've heard that the pay isn't very good. If that is the case then it will be very difficult for OU to get a quality coach. I've heard that Craig Skinner was also being pursued last year for a head coaching job somewhere. Whether Craig decides to pursue a head coaching job anytime soon may all depend on what his wife wants to do. She is an assistant coach on a very good NU soccer team. The Skinner's just recently had their first child so that may be a factor in what Craig Skinner does as well.

I love the musical. Ballet dance routines in a cowboy western setting? What...?
Oooooooo...klahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain, And the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet When the wind comes right behind the rain... Oooooooo...klahoma...

Skinner withdrew his name from consideration. Oklahoma is not ready to make a commitment to their volleyball program.

such a shame...Skinner could have done a good job there......you are right they are not ready to make any committment to their program...they should have let Mahi stay.....who in the world will they get?!?! This whole thing is frustrating...especially when you are a student here praying for a breakthrough in the program.

Never been to Oklahoma, but I can't imagine it being any different from Nebraska. Nebraska is okay, nothing to fling a cat at, but at least it ain't Detroit or Idaho or Gotham City.

It depends where you live in Idaho. Boise is alright, Northern Idaho is nice, but the rest is comparable to Norman. Idaho Falls? Please. Pocatello? Come on. Twin Falls? No thanks.
Forget OU let's talk about places that care about volleyball.

My mom's cousin was in that movie. He taught "Curly" those rope tricks.
