BC is 8-10 3-4 in conference and has been in 8 5 set matches (losing 6 of them).

BGSU's top player missed 13 games. That is going to have an impact. They also have a good OH and Middle coming in next year which should help in the front. They have a really strong freshman who is leading the team kills. I think they are going to be fine. I think most of this discussion is from a parent whose daughter is not playing, just stirring the pot.

I'm not sure missing your best player for 13 matches explains it all. These are all her kids except 1. They are 3-10 (.230) without their best player and 1-6 (.142) with her in the line up. She may right the ship but the fact is she did really well with the previous staff's players. As she added personnel and coached the team longer, they didn't do as well. I'm not a parent of a player but it's pretty plain based on their record that they are not as good now as they were three years ago. Tomic's first year only added one new player. 22-11 13-3 - Won conference tournament as the 2 seed went to NCAA and won their first round match. Tomic's second year after graduating 3 players (only one starter) - she adds 9 players to the roster (including Sunic). 14-16 10-6 - put out in the first round of conference tournament as the 4th seed. Tomic's third year. All the previous staff's players gone except 1. Currently 4-16 1-7.

Seems like she is always talked about on here, but every season she is still there. Speaking of ACC schools. How about BC? BC has improved and is competitive and the administration doesn't have real high expectations for the program, so I'd say he's not on the hotseat at all. Debbie Brown is a legend at ND, she'll decide her own fate herself Unfortunately you are correct. ND is one of the few underperforming schools that appeals to stud recruits! A "smart"coaching change will make a huge impact on the volleyball program hence attracting some top recuits... but as you said, it won't happen till DB decides to step down.

The DePaul seat is getting toasty hot. No good excuse for that team to be failing for so long, and now getting worse. Nice neighborhood and good school to recruit to. How long will Yelin hold his Syracuse job? Will mediocre results satisfy the AD? I agree in the fact that he plays the same six regardless of their play or whether they are successful or not. He is exactly the same as the previous coach in that aspect . Ask me anything. Ive sat and watched this team for five years.I am appalled that a coach at this level is allowed to proceed in such a manner. The AD does a good job and was instrumental in the firing of the previous coach and I cant believe she hasn't sacked yelin as of yet. The girls on this team deserve better and so does the school.I could coach and go through the motions as well but even I wouldn't be 1-9 at this juncture.

Do you realize the injuries that Syracuse has gone through this year ? Yellin is doing a great job and will for as long as he wants at Syracuse.

Yep the loss of Nico for the year has hurt big time. I guess this is the AD im conferring with? Doing things the same way and expedcting different results? Doesnt work. I somehow think the ignorance is on your part.

He'll have at least 2 more years at Syracuse to build. The program never had a rich history of winning to begin with and sadly enough New York talent is just not very good which is why they hired him for his international connections in the first place. If you look at the other coaches in the athletic department, most of them have international connections as well. It takes usually 2 years to recruit a top player then another 2 to 3 years to have them grow as players.

Yellin is doing a great job at Syracuse. That's crazy talk. How could you defend it in any rational way?

I somehow think the ignorance is on your part. It sounds like you are speaking specifically of a certain player who you feel should be playing; a personal situation none of us are aware of
