The young but talented Big Ten rosters have struggled a bit more than normal this pre-season. As a Big Ten backer, we need Wisconsin to walk the talk this weekend.

Interesting that this year (and I guess for at least four years to come) there is not one but two B1G/PAC challenge series.
Stanford/UCLA/PSU/Illinois Washington/USC/Wisconsin/Maryland

How Wisconsin does depends on which defense shows up. We've been alternatively very stingy and devil-may-care this year -- except for CSU the focus has not been there for a whole match. Otherwise, things are looking pretty good. When they are focused, this team is a bit better than the one that one that beat Texas last year, in my opinion.

Could be great could be ruff. Your getting a good Washington team and a USC team in a very bad mood. Then u guys open against penn state. Could be interesting next 3 games

I'm hoping for two exhausting, 5-set Badger wins

The "depends on which team shows up" statement could apply to either of the UWs or USC. Excited to have the Badgers back in Seattle as I loved watching their team at the final four, and they brought some great fans out from the Midwest. This will be a fun series. I hope the dawg fans show up in force even though school hasn't started yet.

I think Wisconsin comes out of this weekend 1-1. (Not a bad result at all) I'm pulling for them to squeak out both though. Pro-B1G, dontchyaknow?!

I think that they will lose to Washington, but it will be close. I have them favored pretty heavily over SC. Should be a very interesting weekend for the Badgers and all teams involved.

I know Washington is going to be favored playing at home against the Badgers, but I have faith that the Badgers will be ready to play. Thinking back to all the games last year, I can only think of one or two games where Sheffield didn't have the team ready to play. This is a very good offensive team, much better than last year, and the defense has been very tough at times. I expect some great matches on Thursday and Friday. The Huskies make me nervous because they are great every year. My only regret at this point is that Romana Kriskova isn't ready to play because I think she could make a difference in this game, I can only hope she heals quickly. Go Badgers!

I'm excited for the Kaleigh Nelson-Haleigh Nelson match-up we didn't get last December.
