In the second semi-final in Baku, Turkey defeats Poland 3-1 to book a place against Germany in tomorrow's final. Neslihan Demir, the left-handed opp player, was a major force in attack with hitting and serving whereas the libero Kayalar just dug pretty much everything. Natalia Hanikoglu and rest of the gang also picked up where Demir left off with the attack under the excellent setting of Bahar Urcu.
With this result, Andrej Niemczyk's strategy of opting to play Turkey instead of Italy in the semis has backfired on him. This loss also kills Poland's OG hopes.
The sets were as follows:
23-25 16-25 18-25 18-25

sorry got carried away we lose the first set as you probably already know.... I was kidding, of course. You got all your games with pretty decisive margin, I would say. Any news from the final – it should be done by this time?

It is over but I was on mobile during the day so could not post the result. I just posted it. It's 3-0 to Germany.
After losing the first set our team cut down on unforced errors (has about 8 in 1st and still lost to 23) and that was the end of it for poland. Things totally fell apart today though ...
