Does anyone know what Danielle Scott is up to? I had thought she was going to try to keep playing.

Oh! Logan Tom is playing in Cannes with Carly Wopat. That sounds awesome on many levels.

I thought Kelly Murphy was going to be playing in Italy again... Japan is an interesting choice. I'm a little sad to see Kristy Jaeckel isn't on this list. I hope Chloe Mann does well in France! (obviously a Gator here)

I am new to volleyball. It seems like such a shame that these women have to travel overseas to play pro volleyball...that there is no market apparently, for a pro league in the U.S. (outside of beach volleyball). I have heard horror stories for Americans (men and women) playing in overseas pro leagues for basketball. Hopefully these volleyball women have a good experience playing overseas.

A good representation of the NCAA in the Swedish Elitserien: Emily Rottman (Virginia), Melissa Vandrey (Illinois), Hannah Allison (Texas), Jennifer Cross (Michigan), Meghan Sherman (Tampa), Megan Devine (East Tennessee State), Christina Alessi (Palm Beach), Denise Van de Mortel (Gonzaga), Marjorie Giordano (Arizona State), Whitney Turner (Northeastern), Autumn Wedan (Portland), Marissa Collins (Central Arkansas), Holly Franks (Fresno State).

These players in their early 20s get to live abroad experiencing new cultures and languages, travel and get paid to play the game they love. Awesome experience

This Lexi Erwin's blog about her playing experience in Finland this season. (Sure hope she doesn't mind me posting this, but it is on the It is a very entertaining blog and it sounds like she is having the time of her life: Lexi Erwin blogFor those who don't remember, as a junior Lexi was a huge factor in Michigan's run to the NCAA tournament final four in 2012. She was awarded Berkeley Regional MVP and made the NCCA Championship all-tournament team. Senior year didn't go as well for her or for Michigan. Her blog sheds some light on what her issues were that season.

If anyone's interested, Kristin Hildebrand's team, Fenerbahce (which also includes Kim, Lo Bianco, Bauer, and Montano), had a friendly match with Vakifbank (Sheilla, Gozde, Vasileva, Costagrande, Naz, and Rasic) that can be seen on Youtube.
Vakifbank is going to be insane this season.

163 women listed on the site. Nice to see that many able to make some money playing pro indoor volleyball.

Vakifbank is going to be insane this season. Eczacibasi, Larson's team which includes de la Cruz, Furst, Neslihan Demir, and Poljak, beat Vakifbank 3-2 in their match in the Turkish league. Hell of a match: Eczacibasi is playing Fenerbahce on the 18th I believe. Needless to say the Turkish league is stacked. Those three teams have already been chosen for the CEV Champions League lineup.
