Jill Kramer will be the next Head Coach at TCU...calling it here and now. Alum, why not? Just hate intra-conference changes. You think that they would take Jill simply because she is an alum? She is 66-83 right now in her head coaching career with all of her teams wins within the last 2 years being against 250 and lower RPI teams. How do those wins and that record tell you that she will compete at the level that the AD wants? At least TCU had a winning record this year and some very quality wins- even those yes I know they lost to WVU. A name which I am very surprised that hasn't popped up and should have is Linda Hampton-Keith. Linda has been at ASU for 4 years and in that time they have went to the tournament 3 or the last 4 years. That is huge for a program that hadn't been to the tournament since 2006. She was a TCU assistant and while she was at TCU for 6 or so years they had some great seasons, a few 20+ I believe. So if we want to throw names around this would be a great name to throw because of her great success!

While you might be right about the other candidate, your facts about Kramer simply are not correct. This year they beat both Seaton hall and Kansas State, two tournament teams with very good RPIs While many of her wins are against bad teams, she does have some good wins, and West Virginia's Pablo ranking has moved up from the 250's down into the double digits.

Hmm, so kungfu is saying that UWV's six conference wins in the Big XII were over teams ranked below 250? KSU? Really? Ok, sorry for the sarcasm...but whether or not she pursues TCU, Jill has done a good job improving in recruiting and in changing the culture of the program, doing it while moving from an OK conference (Big East) into one the toughest volleyball conferences in the nation, and has moved forward in conference standings the past 2 years...in a program that was far behind other conference schools in funding.

Someone threw Kramer's name out as a possibility and right away we are anointing her as the chosen one? Panda threw out Linda Hampton-Keith's name as another possibility and now we are warring over two names that are thrown out as a point of discussion?
Oh yeah, this is VT. never mind.

Not warring over either, but let's not distort facts...

... right away we are anointing her as the chosen one? ... and now we are warring over two names? Nobody's anointing anyone as the chosen one. Nobody's warring over two names. Nobody here said anything like that. Kungfu made a bizarre statement, and a few people corrected it.

Nobody here said anything like that. Kungfu made a bizarre statement, and a few people corrected it. A. It was not a bizarre statement, you made it sound like I randomly said cats like top hats. That is a bizarre statement. B. I shouldn't have said all, I should have said a high majority. C. In 2013 the first like 9 of 11 were to teams 220 and lower on RPI then her conference wins were against Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech, and one against KSU. In 2014 it was pretty much the same thing with wins, maybe a few wins against 160s teams, but in conference against Baylor, Texas Tech, TCU, and KSU yet again. Yes Seton Hall was a good win I agree. You make it sound like she won against a bunch of top 100 or too 50 schools and that hasn't happened. Also being in the Big 12 automatically has you higher in RPI. Look at Cal or Washington State, they are in top 115 and look at who they beat.

I kept looking for some hint about where she was going and then at the end I saw this... "Swartz and her husband Aaron are the proud parents of one-year-old twin boys."

Wouldn't be surprised if Todd Lowery at Brownsville gets the job. He deserves it.
