Not sure if this was posted before. Here's an excerpt from the Rocky Mountain News dated December 4, 2003:
What captured my interest (more than the comment about her being the hardest hitter in the state) was that she's considered a "solid passer and blocker". With Hawaii losing Kim and Lily on the outside and as primary passers (along with Melissa), next year, Kanoe's going to need someone to step up and make good passes to her so that she can mix things up more.

From some stats I saw, Hittle is a very good passer. She passes around 2.5 (if memory serves me right). She is definately the top recruit for Hawaii's 2004 class, in that she has a very solid all around game.

It will be interesting to see what Dave comes up with in "04". Other than Kanoe I don't see anyone having a solid lock on any starting position so her chances might be good.

I actually can't wait till next season already because it is going to interesting with the whole new look wahine. It's really going to be different because we've seen the same faces for the last four to five years and this coming season it's all going to be new.
But I think the Wahine is going to be better than lots of people expect them to be losing those seven seniors from this past season.
I think the Wahine will still be able to hang with the elite programs this coming season.

Boy it sounds like she is a really good player with a lot of hype surrounding her. but i hope that next season turns out great for the girls.
I think Hittle will be the one to step into the starting lineup and suprise many just like how kim and maja did when they were freshmens.

"I think Hittle will be the one to step into the starting lineup" Got the same feeling. I believe that Dave's on record that two of the three new girls will redshirt and one will be a true freshman. If so my money is on her.

What would be the likely starting lineup? I read an article and Dave Shoji said that Alicia Arnott and Susie Boogaard are sure starters.
Left Side - Alicia Arnott, Susie Boogaard Middle - Melody Eckmier, ? Right - ? Setter - Kanoe Kamana'o Libero - Ashley Watanabe
Is this likely to happen? What position will redshirt senior Teisa Fotu be playing, and will she be a starter?
