The first Washington verbal commit (that I can find) for 2022 is Elise Hani from Lake Washington high school and Sudden Impact VBC. She is a 6'4" MB who also plays basketball.
Edit: Sudden Impact twitter announced that Elise was a member of Prepvolleyball Top 150 for 2022

It must be nice to take a 2 step approach when hitting middle!

When I look at the 6'4" Grote when she was a freshman and then compare this gal to her I see a tremendous 4 years ahead for this gal.

Hopefully this is the start of a solid class for cook. We’ll have a lot to replace, especially Ella may and Claire.

Likely a RS at Cal. Fast arm, great array of shots, tough jump spin serve and a much more fluid athlete than Marin. Think she'll be a good one.

doesn't look too bad for a freshmen! Local gems (from the NW) have been an important part of UW's past success: Lee, Thompson, Morrison, Deesing, Myhre, Rowland, Barfield, Nelson, Schwan, Niece, McPherson, Bajema, Sanders, Drechsel, Hoffman, etc. Hopefully, Hani can add to that list.

Add Barfield and subtract Carlson. Kindra was from Colorado
