Do you consider Bakersfield to be part of Southern California? If your question is sincere, yes it is part of So Cal. In club ball, bakersfield plays in SCVA.... Ditto for looking at a map. Thought state schools in Cali offered geography? CSUN's assistant John Price commutes from Bakersfield. |

I think you might want to hold back the name of the transfer until it is verified. If she hasn't told her team or coach yet, it could be a bit awkward for her.
