That about sums it up for me.
(Seriously, though, when is it?)

Wow IB, really come on now. Juniors season is already well under way, with most teams starting play in early January (Some did start in Dec, and of course, dear sweet Michigan is now in HS season).
I have seen some of the top Midwest (actually only GL region) teams play, but honestly cannot compare them to other teams nationally except by reputation. And I don't feel like sticking my foot in my mouth (I pulled a hamstring last week so it hurts).
I know dear (R)uffda's significant other saw some of the elite scrimmages for the 18s level . . . and anyone else in Minn (Gorfie did you go?).
Some of the success of some of the clubs depends on where there top players play.
Is Barboza playing 18s or 17s, is Larson playing 18s or 17s . . . and the like . . .

I haven't spent much time outside of my house or my primary client's office for the past few weeks so I haven't made it to any JO tournaments or power league play days yet this year.
I probably would have tried to make it to the tournament that (R)uffda went to see a week or so back had I logged onto VB at all that weekend to get my IM from him telling me that JJ (and others) were going to be playing.

I had not thought about it one bit.I would rather focus on the college game. There are other sites which focus on high school volleyball.

I had not thought about it one bit.I would rather focus on the college game. There are other sites which focus on high school volleyball. Except if you followed the college game closely you would know that many of the girls in the 18's and some in the 17's are signed or verbally committed to the colleges you boast such loyalty too. You would therefore be interested in how these up and coming players could help and affect your precious college teams . . . And the fact that there IS NO college game right now would also be a factor. Gorfie . . . sorry I wasn't able to give you the heads up re: the Minnesota Elite Series. I forgot completely about it. My bad.

As I stated previously,I have not thought about how the high school players are performing.Very few freshmen make a significant impact(and before you say it,of course there are exceptions).I will wait until they play their first college match and see how they perform. That`s what matters. In the mean time,I`m looking forward to the "spring season" which begins in late March. That will give us an indication of how our teams will look in the fall.
