has anybody read or heard about that iowa state bball coach who got caught at the frat parties? thats crazy funny, check it out on epsn.com. they have pics too

Personally I don't see too much wrong with this. If it were a high school party there would be, because the coach would be held responsible as an adult there. We are talking about 18- 22 year old "kids". The only ones who are calling for his head are parents who want to pretend these things don't go on in colleges.
People this age are held accountable for their actions, drunk or otherwise. If it was at a bar and the coach was seen doing these same things people probably wouldn't care. The fact that it was a frat party, and therefore part of the institution, there is the question of conflict of interest (ie, does he use his stature as a faculty member unfairly).
That issue is solved simply: if the people there didn't want him there, they could have easily made him leave, the same as any other person there. It is actually not all that uncommon. There were numerous occasions where I drank and socialized at bars or frat parties with professors. The only reason this is any more of a deal is because he is a high profile figure.
