The University of Florida's Hilton Volleyball Classic scheduled for Sept. 17-19 has been changed. The University of Connecticut will not participate in the event due to travel issues associated with Hurricane Ivan.
Florida will still face Clemson on Friday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center, which will be the only match of the classic.
Originally, the tournament was to feature Florida, Clemson, Connecticut and UC-Santa Barbara, which made the decision to not travel to Gainesville on Wednesday.

Just a "Championship" Match, perhaps?

I had hoped since Clemson was gonna originally play 2 matches anyways, they'd agree to play a 2nd match against Florida on Saturday, but I guess not. It really sucks that this team has lost so many home matches this early in the season, with no opportunity to make them up at all.
