I have been saying that Rice is going to be a scary team in the WAC. The mere fact they took a game off Minnesota is proof enough for me! Agree with you there, IB. I thought Rice looked good two years ago when they last played at the SSC. They still have some of those players, except that they're all more experienced and I'm sure their games have developed. I'm glad to see them giving Minnesota a little trouble. Go Owls! And keep the updates coming! Thanks.

Rice lost to LSU. It is their only loss, but that's not a very good loss, unless LSU has really improved this year. This would be a huge upset and again turn the vball world on it's head.

They also added some big height and a second Pazo! A second Pazo? Omigod! The first one was good. I remember her just ripping balls from all over the court. How's the second one? Are they related?

Tree Bratford is in the biggest funk.
Minnesota can't be #1 without a decent L2.

That was early and Rice had some new personnel, and a new coach to break in already this season. It's definitely been a team to watch for.

The good news for Minnesota is that 2 times last weekend, they were down 2-1 and came back to win against seemingly better teams. The bad news is they aren't at home this time. We shall see.
