Shondell commented before the match that Dargin was hurt last weekend and that affected her play. That explains why Shondell's daughter was setting. Match has started. Should be on-line at www.purduesports.com

Purdue wins the first two games by scores of 18 and 15.
Not much interesting to say. Purdue is dominating at this point. Purdue serving has been tough on Central Mich, but they are having trouble with even the non-tough serves. The CMU L is the only one who can handle Dildine's jump serve.
Mel Ukovich is on the bench and has been cleared to play, but she better not play too much tonight and risk any more injury.
Shondell pretty much cleared the bench in Game 2, with Emily Williams in for McConoha and Little Shondell in for Dargin.
Of course, Purdue won the first two Tuesday against Valpo in similar convincing fashion, but that didn't last in game 3. Maybe better luck tonight.

I should note that the ref who was calling all the ball handling errors in the first match tonight has been just as active in the down position calling net violations.

I should note that the ref who was calling all the ball handling errors in the first match tonight has been just as active in the down position calling net violations. And then she calls an out of rotation. Purdue wins game 3 30 - 26 or so. Not as dominating as in games 1 and 2, but still good enough. McConoha sat the bench for the last 2/3 of the match. Just to keep her fresh for tomorrow, I'm guessing.
