Dennis Punzel @dennispunzelwsj 27m27 minutes ago Per Rich Kern new badgervb is setter Jordan Robbins, a transfer from UCLA. Played 13 matches as frosh, no action last year.

Interesting exchanges there.
Volleyball channel -- I have no idea if the revenue stream exists for this, but I would absolutely eat it up. It might destroy my career though, which has nothing to do with Vball.
Fewer subs? I really favor all round players, but does the quality of the game actually improve with more specialists? Then again, does frequent subbing tilt the balance further in favor of the big programs that can recruit more high quality players with promise of playing time, starving the smaller programs of recruits?
I think we will see video review soon, at least in the tournament. I wonder if the conferences can implement it independently. Pretty sure the B1G could do it without too much fuss. Who pays for it?
Other interesting ideas -- use of drones to improve perspective of TV coverage (can see this turning into a Blackhawk down situation), up ref on same side as coaches, clean up double contact rule...
Oh, and 6-rotation middles -- Haleigh is on a crusade!
Why's he waiting in ORD? Isn't he doing a coaches clinic in a day or two?

What will Sealy do with only 3 setters on the roster? So that's a direct replacement for Erin. Sheff obviously feels he needs an extra setter on roster. Does this mean he is still redshirting Hannah?

Why didn't she play last year? Was she injured? Is she a red-shirt sophomore or a junior?

Robbins has been injured since the first month of the 2013 season. She should have 3 years of eligibility with the Badgers.

I see she was an OH/setter in HS. Second coming of Courtney Thomas?
And, as a native Californian, can she stand the winters?

Second coming of Courtney Thomas? No. She saw time in a 6-2 her freshman year when Moenoa was injured, but I would be surprised if she got on the court in a significant match.

Is she an acceptable back-up in a 5-1 for a top PAC or B1G team though? This depends on whether Hannah Juley is still redshirting as we originally thought would happen with Erin around. Adding Robbins might keep that possibility open while providing another setter in the gym for practice. But I don't know anything about Robbins. Seems like any hope of contributing at UCLA was derailed by the injury and that leaves us nothing to go on. We don't think Erin was on scholarship so I'm guessing she's not on one at UW. Was she on scholarship at UCLA or did Sealy pull one from her?
