Another reason for burgess could be not risking injury. I know inky is playing but this is the superclasses last chance at nc. If this were psu in that position I wouldn't want their players out there in offseason The fact that Inky is going would indicate that Dunning isn't discouraging invited players to participate and so maybe Burgess wasn't invited. There are a lot of particularly talented players right now and it's possible that he filled the slots with players he is more interested in for the long term.

Carlini will be the starting setter for Team USA when Glass retires - hands down. I'm not sure about the retirement part ... she might take it over before she retires.

For a setter that is the most important trait.....having better hands. Completely incorrect. Amen. It's all about a setter's location and brains.

Bugg is like Barboza. All that talent, but doesn't show up to the big matches. How dare you?! Bugg is nothing compared to Barboza. Lol.

Amen. It's all about a setter's location and brains. Brains = set selection.

Barboza wasn't the same after her knee injury. She was a volleyball stud before getting injured and would have been an even bigger stud if she hadn't been injured.

The winter training camp started this morning. Will have the showcase Friday. Very high level training and learning the focus.

Gotta disagree. The only advantages Bugg has on Hancock is better hands and a slightly better block. Everything else is advantage Hancock. For a setter that is the most important trait.....having better hands. Totally disagree. Setting is about decision-making and leadership.

Great to hear she is still playing. What a talented player. She really is. It was really a shame how she was allowed to act the way she did growing up. She could've been something special at USC had she stayed.
