So there has been quite a bit of movement on the Men's side this off season. Some interesting new teams out there. What does everyone think of the likely new partnerships, does anyone know any others? So far what I've heard was:
Avatar and Mayer Theo and Nick Todd and Stafford Keenan and Billy
Not sure where this leaves a few other guys such as Crabb, but should be an interesting season and it'll be interesting to see if all these actually end up happening. What does everyone think? Anyone know any others?

Avatar and Mayer: I can see that...might work Theo & Nick: Might be top tier! Todd & Stafford: Haven't watched Slick that much, will be interesting to watch! Keenan and Billy: What can Keenan change to move up? Billy? Doubt it, but a fun team to watch
Adrian? Fully FIVB through Italy on way to Rio '16?

Slick didn't like playing with Adrian because of his behavior... Multiply that by 50 now that he is playing with Rogers, good luck lol

Big Adrian fan, but not sure his resume is comparable to Todd, nor did he take a "raw Phil" to the Olympics...and some serious AVP runs. . .

Not comparing the resumes... Saying Rogey is not nice. Hopefully he teaches Stafford how to block or else he is really going to be not nice

Not sure "not nice" is fair to Todd. People complain often, here and courtside, about player "demeanor", oftens something that they just are not fond of and may just be a termperment thing or personal trait...Todd's pretty technical when I've heard him talk about beach, so I doubt few are on his "level", students of the game; some, probably not many. Since he got a bronze in Long Beach in '14, you have to realize the talent he brings (Theo played lights out) to the field at his age with raw new talent...

I think it is a good move for Slick. No matter what you think of Todd's on court persona, he can teach.
Really interested in seeing Mayer & Ryan.
Wonder where Crabb will go? Maybe his brother?
Also, what is Casebeer's plan?

Anybody know who Avery Drost is playing with? On twitter he posted a video of him with this line: Practicing defense and right side - a big part of 2015 for me @ Hermosa Beach, CA http://instagram.com/p/xVlFcAx1BX Slick and Rodgers are in it, but no 4th player. I asked him who he is playing with.

Did not realize Drost was goofy footed. It really is interesting how many beach guys are goofy footed.

Thanks, JB. I enjoyed watching him play last year in St. Pete. He must have someone in mind if he's talking about playing defense and right side.

Speaking of 2015, anyone have some insight on what's in the works for the domestic event schedule in 2015? With FIVB Long Beach now in August, I wonder if the Manhattan Beach Open would really be the weekend prior or they would space it out more?
