Can't wait to watch these seniors in their final season!!! I sincerely hope that Ms. Borup is able to recover quickly from her ankle sprain. All of these returning players are fantastic. There are also, no doubt, a ton of talented (pre-NCAA) level student-athletes on this roster, but isn't it fair to say that calling this the 11th best team in the nation, and I'm guessing pundits have them top-3 in the PAC, is a LITTLE bit of a stretch? 14 player rosters are fairly thin these days, and when you add in the fact that 10 of the 14 have never played a collegiate match, and one of the "vets" (a sophomore) is being moved from libero to undersized outside, regardless of their age-group/high school/usa volleyball success, there has to be some cautious thoughts, right? Before anyone suggests I am being pessimistic, I'll call it realistic, know that I'll be watching with great interest. Go (for it) Ducks!

There is not much proven right now, so let’s enjoy the ride and see what they can do!!

Not good news about Borup...I hope she gets healthy soon! Is Williams the replacement at this point? How is her passing? Honestly, solid. Of course she will get plenty of opportunities to show what she can do in that area! Well either her teammates are giving her easier serves or she's made vast improvements since this club season.

Well, they asked the other 11 coaches in the PAC, and they seemed to agree the Ducks would be pretty damn good this year, and that's not a group that's looking to do favors for Oregon.
This is gonna be a fun season. I can't wait.

Well, this is from watching her in the spring games against OSU, Seattle and UW with the NCAA ball and in some of the Europe matches with the tough to pass Mikasa. I also saw her during a club tourney not playing backrow, so I didn't expect to see what I saw in regard to receive, but honestly she did truly impress me. So, I guess I'll go with vast improvement??

As we get hyped up for the season, let's take a look at our Week 1 opponents, UCI and BC. UCI just posted their season preview here, and while they look to replace a good setter and a great all-around player in Kekuoha, they do have some bangers on the roster (Carter, Marjama & Wolfe), and some well-regarded recruits. It should be an exciting game as they are physical and serve well. ucirvinesports.com/news/2019/8/12/passing-the-torch-2019-womens-volleyball-preview.aspxBC hasn't really posted much, but they were much better last year and look to continue to improve under Jason Kennedy, as they only graduate one starter and have brought in a decent class. They have a favorable schedule and could see them winning 20 matches if they continue their trajectory.

Oregon will not miss a step for sure. Can't wait to see play this season. This will be the most entertaining team to see play in the Pac-12. When they are on they can play with anybody, but when they are off it will be painful to watch.

I pick Oregon to finish 2nd in the Pac-12 I hope but I just think USC is returning a lot of experience. I’m hoping for 3rd. Really depends on how fast all our freshmen get up to speed. But I think the future is bright!

I guess no streams, according to twitter. Oregon Athletic department don't care I guess, since they won't get paid more wether there is a stream or not

Was this supposed to be the alumni game? but not many alumni showed up and they turned it into a scrimmage? Or did Sonja and Taylor just happen to be around and they brought them in for the heck of it?
