These are things that have been said before but seeing the references in other posts I will say once more.
One should not forget that these people are professionals. What does this mean? This means they making their living performing this sport. There nothing as normal as a player wanting to play pro. Players should not be criticized for playing pro. That's their job!
It is near impossible to keep the team together all year around (and I am also not convinced it is better than players playing in pro leagues with other countries' pros). Very few feds in the world have this kind of funding and power over their players to force them to stay at a certain place.
In many counties, national teams work around their players' schedules not the other way around. That's the way it should be.
National team is not primary school - meaning they should not be working on fundamentals at this level. It should be a matter of mashing all the talent and making the best of it in terms of tactics and team chemistry.
We continuously hear rumors (some very credible some not) about players' off court lives. That's their business.
Playing for NTs should not be done for money - IMO that defeats the whole purpose. I am OK with bonuses etc but paying players defeats the purpose I think.

Charlie, If you are in the volleyball arena you know what I am saying is true. I agree with beachman - too many princesses - who really don't care. It is time to get rid of the pros and go to amatuers players that care. TheBest,

Charlie, If you are in the volleyball arena you know what I am saying is true. It should be obvious from my post that I am in the volleyball arena, yet I don't know that what you are saying is true. To the contrary, I'm quite sure that your claims are fiction. A sponsor telling a national team coach what to do? This is just silly. You just make up things, write them here, and then expect people to believe you?? As I predicted, you did not answer my 2 questions. They are straightfoward questions. If YOU were in the volleyball arena, you could answer them.

TheTseb and Jumper40... Could the two of you be anymore obvious about being the same person posting to each other here? I was thinking the same thing. Anybody who has to create another entity to agree with him is a DUMBASS! I think this person is trained in the art of "evasive writing". Too bad for him that many of us graduated from the same school, lol! We know a poser when we see one.

Hey stop that Jumper40. You know I appreciate you liking what I say - but come on you know I am not you and you are not me. Now you really got this board wondering. Jumper40 It's pretty damn embarassing to be called out by the board community about making up stupid-ass rumors about the National Team programs. It's even more embarassing that the board community called you out about your multiple board identities, and posting replies to yourself. Congratulations. You are just about the biggest dumbass ever on Volleytalk.

I'll address to this comment to both screen names because its the same dumbass. ;D
By definition, a poser is "a person who habitually pretends to be something he is not." You are pretending to have sources on the inside, pretending to be an insider, therefor you are a poser.
