God knows I am as quick to jump on or off a bandwagon as anybody, in particular when it comes to this team, but its February. Short of injury there is almost no performance worth of serious concern in February

Something to keep in mind, perhaps: to the U.S. players, this is a paid extended training session, not a serious competition. Of course they would like to win, as any competitor would, but not at the expense of radically altering their training in order to be more prepared for a February exhibition. The first real event for American teams is still nearly two months off, and it's a long season.

I'm not reading much into this exhibition myself...The Brazilians have been playing for a while now...The US players started training about a month ago? They will be fine!! Wasn't even surprised that Kerri & April were 1-3 in pool play....all very close matches....

Sorry, but as a longtime fan and player, I have to agree that although the US was way ahead of Brazil until at least the late 90's and maybe even up through the early 2000's, they are now pretty far ahead of us in terms of both team depth and up and coming young players. Hate to have to admit it, but its simply the truth and the way these cyclical things go.
