Is there a reason why there is no team competition? UCLA has played in only two team events so far this year. UCLA's on the quarter system so their schedule has always been a little weird for beach. They have one or two dates and then will basically be off for a week or two during spring break/finals week between quarters. For this event, I'd imagine a team competition with multiple schools probably would have been cost prohibitive. This seemed more like an exhibition in context with a bigger event (put on a by a private entity, and not a school).
