going to see waitress tomorrow night. excited Haven’t seen this. My daughter loved it, but said, “I’m really glad you weren’t sitting next to me. I’d have been really embarrassed.” So, guess it’s a little sexy? The music is sure good.

The music is sure good. just got back. it was fun. i liked it. i felt like it could have been more....as in, take what they did but turn it up a few notches.
and your daughter is right....definitely would have been a bit awkward. some adult language, humor, and situations.
my seat was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than the one i had for love never dies.

Glad you had fun. A good seat makes so much difference! I won’t go if my choices are more than 12 rows back. #iamasnob I bought tickets last spring off Craigslist from a lady who has 10 season tickets. Row 5 and 6 dead center. After talking for a bit, we discovered we went to the same high school and had mutual friends. So now she doesn’t use Craigslist until she asks me first. Saaweeet deal! Next for me is The Play That Went Wrong in March.

forgot to tell you this part. in the musical, the main character jenna is married to a dead-beat named earl. earl was a bad dude and the audience grew to dislike him because he was so super mean to jenna.
when the musical was over and the performers came out for a curtain call, the audience booed earl. that's funny to me. the performer did such a good job being a jerk that the audience didn't want to clap for him

Hahaha Sounds like it stays pretty close to the movie storyline

mln59Beautiful. The song after it is my favorite. I love how the orchestra comes in after her initial timid singing. Also love the staging so we (the audience) are given the view from behind her. Sarah Brighton has a beautiful voice, but I CANNOT watch her sing. Her facial expressions annoy me. Same with Celine Dion.
