Broken clock's right twice a day too. I blame Berg for London, and I'll blame Glass for Rio anything less than gold. No, you'll blame Karch like the rest of us if he knowingly leaves the best players to represent our country in Rio at home. Don't even get me started. I have no idea how you can look Heather Bown in the face after everything she did during that quad with that young group and tell her that she's not making the Olympic roster. No idea.

If you want to put it that way, you better have her on the team then. well, Hooker was on the WC team in 2010 . Did they win ? Hooker also was on the Olympics team in 2012 . Did they win ? Oh, Team USA just won the first ever gold medal w/o Hooker. They did win w/o her. Don't bother trying ...the light switch is on but he bulbs are burned out.

Mmmm, that's a tough one. No question about Heather as a team-mate, absolutely none. Telling Glass must have/should have been just as hard, if not harder. And Danielle's selection at least had some basis in actual skills, but a double-sub?

Not only was she our best blocker at the time, but she was huuuuuge in on-boarding and motivating the newer players like Jordan and Foluke leading up to London. That GM match really could have used her leadership and ability to look everyone in the eye after set 1 and calm things down.

Yes, that too! I wouldn't characterize either Heather or Dani as vocal leaders, but Dani's relationships and influence with Logan, Tayyiba, Destinee, Foluke and to a lesser degree Glass are often over-looked. It didn't necessarily show in the final match, but I can at least understand the choice between Heather and Dani.

And if we're going to place blame for that final match on one person, it should be Hugh.

Mmmm...It seems that Courtney Thompson has a great opinion of Karch as a coach and leader. Perhaps you all should scroll down and read that. ofcourse she would she's a subpar setter that karch has chosen to remain on the team (i wonder why, hmm). sometimes people that challenge you help you grow as a person. do i see your point? of course i see your point, do i feel my point is stronger ofcourse i do, we are all entitled to our own opinion. do i like karch yes i like karch, but for someone to be so extreme as to not include hooker and tom-ESPECIALLY TOM is incredibly incredibly sad. you talk about someone who has been there from a teenager on the womens olympic team-excluding her is unbelievable. you don't think she put blood, sweat, and tears into this program too? i sat there horrified as our team imploded during the last olympics and my only solace was that in Rio our same group would sweep the brazilians (i hope) and then to learn that these 2 were cut just totally floored me. smh.

Wow....now you have insulted and thrown Thompson under the bus just to try to win over your point. You are really desperate. Bottom line. Karch is the coach. Live with it.

I don't necessarily believe that the choice should've been between Bown and Scott-Arruda. Harmotto had a very, very poor tournament (due to a lingering injury?).
