No Surprises really but does anybody know if the Atlantic Sun will continue to get the Auto Bid next year, you could make an argument that UCLA has a right to that spot.

I'm a UCLA guy but they can't really claim much after losses to LBSU, Arizona and Arizona State in the last few days of the season. Stetson at least has that early win against FIU.
I do wonder about that ASun auto qualifier in the future... there's only 8 bids and the ASun isn't necessarily going to put up a deserving team every year.

Isn't the field going to expand to include more than just 8 teams though?

There won't be more than 8 bids until a lot more schools join the sand party.
The NCAA has auto qualifiers in almost every sport, to promote participation and reward conferences.
They are not going to remove auto qualifiers in any sport, anytime soon. In fact, I predict the opposite trend for sand - I expect more conferences to organize a sand schedule to get an auto bid. In most NCAA sports, roughly half the national bids are via conference tournaments.
However, I think the NCAA rule for conferences to get a bid is having 6 teams in the conference. There may be a exception clause allowing less teams for a year. The ASUN only has 5 teams with sand, so that could be an issue. However, Kennesaw State has been considering it for a while, or they could pick up another unaffiliated sand program as an associate member.

Hmm.. FAU or FIU maybe? Not sure CUSA is going to adopt sand as a conference.
