Ebony would help any team in the country, but IMO the best fits are Wisconsin and Nebraska. They both have great setters, systems, and all the pieces for national championship teamm, but missing a TERMINATOR. I also think her blocking could improve at either school. I must have missed something, didn't Nebraska's starting setter graduate last year?

Great she may be, but it's kind of a stretch to say that she IS a great setter (like sasa said) when she hasn't proven it on the court yet

If she transfers to Wisconsin, it's sure gonna make that UW/USC/Wisconsin/Maryland preseason tournament kind of tension filled You mean the one that isn't happening anymore?

She red shirted last season to give her four years of eligibility. There is literally almost nothing that suggests that she will be able to be a great setter in the best conference, let alone the next great Nebraska setter. We know two things about Hunter at this level: 1) she wasn't good enough, in whatever aspect (leader, communicator, competitor, etc.) to beat out Pollmiller in either of the last two seasons, and 2) she's played about 15 minutes of college volleyball two years ago. Pump the brakes. Give her a chance without all these ridiculous expectations and hyperbole. She's a talented kid with a great opportunity. And, she'll have three years of eligibility, not four.

Oh Gees.....its the Volleytalk police with a cob up his a$$. I am so sorry. I so enjoy razzing Ay because he lives to put down any other conference to attempt to make the Pac look better and then good two shoes comes along and ruins my fun by being enraged at my expectations? Get a sense of humor. .....and Ay.....do you really think that Polmiller beat Hunter out during her Senior year or that John was making an education decision to have Hunter for three...yes....THREE...more years? Ponder that .

People around the program are more excited about Hunter than they ever were about Pollmiller, no matter the lip service they paid to Mary's toughness and leadership ability.

I agree with AY and Shhhh: Hunter hasn't proven anything yet. Setters only prove themselves on the court, so we will see how things turn out for her. She may turn out to be a great setter. Or not. I remember all the hype for Higgins at Hawaii a couple of years ago; now that is considered a glaring weak spot on the team. We'll see about Nebraska. I have nothing against Hunter or Nebraska and hope that she has a great career. But that won't be decided for a few years.

Even though I don't think she will play another year like her freshmen year. This is a huge loss for USC.
