Lowe is really showing she belongs in Rio.

The buffering makes this unwatchable. i've not seen any buffering from universalsports. blame your isp or whatever - very watchable here

Interesting sub pattern. Larson in for dixons back row. Hill libero'd out. At least that's what I think happened. Brazil pulled something similar at the 08 Olympics. Sassa would come in for Fabiana and serve, while the libero would replace Mari after she served.

Very nice match. Two rough patches but we recovered very well.
Kreklow has another steady performance.

We play a bigger blocking team tomorrow but glad to see we closed it out in 3.

Still halfway through the 3rd game here. i'm surprised it's not skipping ahead & trying to play what happened 15 min ago. since the universal link will give you the replay, go do something for an hour or 2 or 10 and watch replay

I think she belongs in Rio, but at the same time, I think it's hard to gauge how well she did since she was hitting against people who were shorter than 6 feet. She was actually pretty bad against China.

Didn't see hit .333 or something close to that? If that is a BAD performance, then I don't know what a good one is. A good one for Murphy is around .333.
Granted her blocking needs work. But, I'm sure they're working her hard in the gym with that.

But the match I did watch in Hawaii, she was great.

i'd pick lowe & murphy right now too.. tomorrow against russia will show alot more what diff a big block will make for them They will both struggle against bigger blocks if they are set too tight, and if they try to hit the radical angles they like, they both just stay steady and hit deeper to corners, and fingertips and try to tool the block more they will be okay. We don't have to get the kill on the first strike just gotta stay patient, they both had a tendency to hit STRAIGHT DOWN INTO the block against China. I'm thinking Russia's blockers might be a little slower in their lateral movements so maybe that will be a factor but they are just as tall if not taller than China's. It will depend on our passing and choices in transition what happens with if we get blocked off the court or not.

She was actually pretty bad against China. She's just putting so much distance between herself and Murphy (who also struggled vs China) that it's become clearer and clearer she should make the roster barring something big happening. Murphy hit .164 in the last WGP leg, and about .111 tonight. Karsta was around .500 today.
