Lowe is also a better at broken plays than Murphy. The end of the third set, Lowe just went up with no approach and crushed the ball.

I think she belongs in Rio, but at the same time, I think it's hard to gauge how well she did since she was hitting against people who were shorter than 6 feet. She was actually pretty bad against China. She's just putting so much distance between herself and Murphy (who also struggled vs China) that it's become clearer and clearer she should make the roster barring something big happening. Murphy hit .164 in the last WGP leg, and about .111 tonight. Karsta was around .500 today. gotta remember the setting was horrible against china. too bad fawcette couldn't play against china to see how she hits against them

i'd pick lowe & murphy right now too.. tomorrow against russia will show alot more what diff a big block will make for them Aren't they playing Italy tomorrow? I know what Sunderland said during the broadcast but according to the FIVB official site they play Italy tomorrow and the Russkies on Friday.

Both are better at blocking than Japan, and will probably serve better be interesting.

Didn't see hit .333 or something close to that? If that is a BAD performance, then I don't know what a good one is. A good one for Murphy is around .333. Granted her blocking needs work. But, I'm sure they're working her hard in the gym with that. FWIW, against China last week Lowe hit .037 (10-9-27) and Murphy hit .133 (7-5-15).

I didn't calculate the math and looked quickly at the %pts.

be careful what you wish for. If Karch begins to chuck the players who help win the first ever gold medal, don't cry when it comes back to bite his azz. Karma sometimes can be a beeetch.

Harmotto was not even in the picture but Hugh basically demoted Bown to the C team. Of course, Harmotto bombed in London but Hugh had no other options. That was just one example. Hugh also left Glass home and other stupid moves he made. Karch was on there so hopefully, he remembers..at least I hope Karch will remember.

I think Hugh made a tough choice with Bown v Harmotto (I personally would've chosen Bown), but IMHO Glass wasn't as good then as she is now. Either way I think Karch has a good problem on his hands with all of our players are competing for the 12 spots in Rio.

Nothing against Omaha but it's Omaha not Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York, Houston, Miami or any other big city where you have a few more people. Yeah because the Marlins, Heat, and Dolphins draw so well... Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Harmotto was not even in the picture a year out but somehow Hugh picked her over Bown. Go back and check the GP roster in 2011 and 2012, Harmotto was riding the bench. It was so stupid. Glass was playing great too, much better than Thompson plus the way Hugh ran the double sub, 1 shot and you are out, the setter CT was not a factor so selecting Glass would have made perfect sense in case Berg got hurt or not playing well. Hey personal feelings sometimes got in the way, you know...
