The University of Nebraska Kearney is holding a full scholarship for an outside hitter who can make an IMMEDIATE impact in 2015. UNK finished 27-4 last season and ranked #5 in the final AVCA D2 Poll. They compete in one of the nation's strongest conferences, comparable to Mid-Major DI. They also lead the nation in fan attendance. This may be a topic for another thread but as I read the post above I couldn’t help but wonder which conference they consider to be a Mid-Major Division I conference that they were comparable to last year. I have a hard time believing that a conference with Nebraska Kearney, Central Missouri, Central Oklahoma, Washburn, Missouri Western, Emporia, Northwest Missouri, Fort hays State, Pittsburg State, Southwest Baptist, Missouri Southern, Lindenwood would be comparable to the Mid-American, Missouri Valley, Conference USA or other Mid-Major conference.

Pablo says they are equal to Ball State and just ahead of Central Arkansas. 4 Spots below Auburn and 40 spots ahead of Notre Dame.

The title for this thread is misleading, by not stating it is a Top 5 D2 NCAA program that's being referred to.

The title for this thread is misleading, by not stating it is a Top 5 D2 NCAA program that's being referred to. Nor did he claim it was D1, so what is the problem? Its a full scholarship opportunity at a good school with a great program and they did finish the season ranked #5 in the AVCA poll. Now, I'm not a fan of coaches using VT to solicit players but it's late and coaches are desperate and by the time everyone gets back from their long weekend this thread will be on page 2 and we'll never have to see it again.

We only want wild speculation and personal opinions They said their conference was comparable to a mid-major DI. Plus I really don't think pablo would support the "facts" above without a disclaimer. It is their wild speculation without "facts" to support it that I was thinking about as I read it. I know they have a good program. The statement just made me go hummmmmm. "Composite Pablo rankings for DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA Updated through 10/22/2014 Disclaimer: The biggest uncertainty is the relationship relative to D1. The D1 interdivisional data are still limited."
