I will take that bet on 2020. Walsh will be retired and April will be the big USA name on the womens side. Just the money in sponsors and ads will make her rich. She will be back in 2020. April will be around 37 or 38 by the time the 2020 Olympics roll around. Don't know if I'm seeing another Olympic run. I think she hangs up her bikini maybe a season or two after Rio and goes into coaching (something she really enjoys and also something she's really good at). But I'm just guessing here.

Btw April is playing in St Pete. Not sure if it is with Kerri but she says she is playing so maybe.

That is my guess since that is who she has been practicing with.

Thoughts on Pavlik? Would her and Fopma still be together if Fopma had not gotten injured in 2014?

Is Kerri out for the year? Does anyone know exactly what her injury to her shoulder is? Is it possibly career ending? Just haven't heard or seen anything posted...Thanks!

Kerri dislocated her shoulder. Nothing major injured just letting it recover

I just looked at the entry list on the FIVB sites. It lists 5 US womens teams:
S Ross/Fopma Carico/Dicello Hochevar/Mcguire Fendrick/Sweat
and April Ross/Kerri Walsh. So maybe she is gonna give it a go as this is an Olympic qualification event from what April said on Facebook.

Warm the competition up for me will ya?! Kick butt" seems to say Kerri won't be in St. Petersburg.

April and Pav have been training together for two weeks, and I don't think it's just to get some extra practice reps.

I guess this is smart by April since she and Whitney did well the one time they played but I would have liked to see April give someone like Summer, Fopma or Lauren a chance. I dont necessarily think either is that much better than Whitney but Whits limits have been firmly established.
Have the new pairings been posted somewhere? I would love a blow by blow, who dumped who etc.
